Your client said yes. Now make the handoff clear.
Turn one messy sales-to-delivery handoff into a working checklist, named owners, and a kickoff template your team can use on its next project. A fixed $1,500 engagement for small service agencies. Ten business days after complete intake.
Next step: send your handoff for a fit check.
Keep the tools you already use. Give the handoff a clear owner.
If each new sale sends the team back to the founder for context, the handoff needs attention. The reset focuses on the point between a signed agreement and a delivery-ready kickoff. It does not replace your project management system.
You may already have a proposal, sales notes, and a place to manage projects. The missing piece is an agreed check: what must arrive from sales, who checks it, and who accepts the work into delivery.
What you receive
- A responsibility map showing who supplies the scope, who checks it, and who accepts the project into delivery.
- A checklist your team can use before kickoff, covering agreed work, required inputs, unresolved questions, owners, and next actions.
- A kickoff template that keeps agreed work, open questions, and next actions together.
- A recorded walkthrough explaining how to use the documents on your next project.
You receive editable documents. Your team owns their implementation and continued use.
How the work runs
Send three redacted recent handoffs, the templates you currently use, and name one approver plus a delivery lead. We review the gap and meet for a 45-minute working session. The approver and delivery lead should attend.
The documents are drafted around your existing workflow. You review one set of files and return consolidated comments within three business days. One revision is included. If comments arrive later, we agree a new delivery slot.
The ten-business-day delivery window begins after complete intake. You receive confirmation of the start and review dates before work begins.
This is a fit when
You have an existing sales and delivery process, the handoff repeatedly needs clarification, and someone on your team can approve a change and put the documents into use.
It is not a fit when you need a new project system, a full operations redesign, someone to run projects every week, or legal advice about your client agreements.
$1,500 for one workflow
The fixed project includes the material review, working session, responsibility map, checklist, kickoff template, recorded walkthrough, and one revision. You receive a written scope and payment/cancellation terms for review before committing. This page does not promise a particular reduction in hours, rework, or cost.
Questions before you start
Is this a software implementation?
No. You receive editable working documents. Your team puts them into use. Tool migration, ongoing project management, and broader operations redesign are separate work.
What if we do not have three recent handoffs?
Say so at the fit check. We need enough real material to understand the gap. A different scope may be necessary; the standard engagement should not be booked on incomplete assumptions.
What do you need from our team?
Redacted examples, current templates, an approver and delivery lead for the 45-minute working session, and one consolidated review. You also need someone who will put the resulting documents into use.
Who owns the documents?
You receive editable files to use in your business. Any specific licensing, confidentiality, and contractual terms must be confirmed in the written agreement before work begins.
What happens after the fit check?
You receive a written fit decision and confirmation of scope. If the project fits, we agree terms and a start date. If it needs migration or a broader redesign, that is identified before you commit to the standard project.
Send your handoff for a fit check
Send a redacted example of your current handoff and a short description of where it breaks. Remove client names, confidential pricing, and personal details not needed to assess the process. Do not send material you are not authorized to share.
Teaching-preview contact note: this example does not collect information. Before using this copy, replace this note with your own tested, monitored contact route and data-handling information. Confirm the written reply and who is responsible for it. Do not publish an inert “send” button.
